Frequently asked questions about openskies.dot

For digital wallets, is .PAY Sunrise first-come, first-served for trademark holders?

.PAY Sunrise is a Start-Date Sunrise, so eligible trademark registrations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis when policy requirements are met. Start the request at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Waiting can increase the risk that another eligible party gets the matching label first.

How much should I budget for openskies.dot over five years?

For five years of openskies.dot at the $100 standard rate, budget roughly $500 plus any taxes, assuming openskies.dot stays standard. If the registry classifies openskies.dot as premium, multiply the higher premium fee by five instead. Confirm the per-year cost for openskies.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

What happens around February 1, 2027 for .PAY for loan repayments?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Does domain.pay let me browse and search for names like openskies.dot?

Yes. domain.pay lets you both browse a curated catalog and search by keyword for names like openskies.dot, then pre-order the ones you want. The combination supports both open browsing and targeted openskies.dot searches. Try it at https://domain.pay/domains.

How do I know if subscriptions.pay is available?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
