Frequently asked questions about openpilot.dot

What date matters most if I want a .PAY name without a trademark for loan repayments?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register. Re-confirm dates before publishing if the registry updates its schedule.

When should trademark holders submit openpilot.dot?

Trademark holders should submit openpilot.dot during the sunrise phase, within the registry's published window, to claim it before general availability opens. domain.pay handles the openpilot.dot submission so you do not miss it. Prepare at https://domain.pay/register.

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later when choosing cloud.pay?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Who handles my VIP request for openpilot.dot?

Our priority operations team handles VIP requests, advancing openpilot.dot in the submission queue so it reaches Amazon Registry Services as fast as possible at the drop. They cannot override the registry's final allocation of openpilot.dot. Learn about VIP at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order when choosing wallet.pay?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
