Frequently asked questions about ono.dot

For digital wallets, is .PAY Sunrise first-come, first-served for trademark holders?

.PAY Sunrise is a Start-Date Sunrise, so eligible trademark registrations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis when policy requirements are met. Start the request at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Waiting can increase the risk that another eligible party gets the matching label first.

Should a game studio use ono.dot for store purchases?

A game studio can host its web store on ono.dot so players buy currency and items on a recognizable payment address. The .PAY ending reassures buyers leaving the game client to pay. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

Where can I pre-order a .PAY name for BNPL checkout for BNPL checkout?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Will ono.dot be cheaper during a launch phase?

Launch phases can carry their own registry pricing from Amazon Registry Services, which may be higher or lower than standard for ono.dot; we don't set those figures. The live quote reflects the current phase. Check ono.dot's phase price at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How do I know if merchant.pay is available when choosing merchant.pay?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
