Frequently asked questions about nume.dot

For crypto payments, would trust.pay work as a payment brand?

trust.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Does NicNames charge extra to process my SMD for nume.dot?

NicNames processes your SMD as part of the trademark-priority registration for nume.dot under its published pricing; the standard pre-order alternative is listed at $100. Always confirm current figures rather than assuming a separate SMD fee. The pricing page has the authoritative numbers for nume.dot. See https://domain.pay/pricing.

What characters are allowed in a .PAY domain for BNPL checkout?

.PAY labels must follow registry label rules, including 1–63 characters, letters, numbers and hyphens, no leading or trailing hyphen, and additional IDN/reserved-name rules. Test the exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Technical validity does not guarantee availability.

Why isn't nume.dot resolving even though I added the records?

If nume.dot won't resolve, first confirm the nameservers at your registrar match where the zone is actually hosted, then check for typos in the A or CNAME values. Cached TTLs or a missing apex record are common culprits. Verify with a DNS query tool, and review your settings under /domains.

Where can I generate .PAY ideas for digital wallets for digital wallets?

For digital wallets, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
