Frequently asked questions about novamet.dot

For crypto payments, how does the first-day .PAY pre-order attempt work?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Can a nonprofit use novamet.dot to accept donations?

Yes. A nonprofit can route novamet.dot to its donation page so supporters reach a clear, branded place to give. The .PAY suffix reads as a payment or contribution address tied to novamet.dot. Nonprofits can pre-order novamet.dot at /register.

Is .PAY already open to everyone for payroll disbursements?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Can I register novamet.dot and a matching .com together?

Yes, many brands hold both novamet.dot and the matching .com, using one as the primary site and 301-redirecting the other to it. This protects the brand and captures direct-type traffic on both. You can secure novamet.dot now at https://domain.pay/register.

Can .PAY be used for a branded checkout URL for mobile money?

merchant.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
