Frequently asked questions about normcore.dot

How do I register donate.pay if it matches my trademark?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Are there compliance differences between normcore.dot and other gTLDs?

normcore.dot may carry payment-oriented eligibility and validation expectations that many open gTLDs do not, reflecting the .PAY namespace's financial focus. This is a registry-level distinction set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay explains the differences and registers normcore.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I choose between trademark fast-track and pre-order for point-of-sale payments?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Why might sunrise end before I register normcore.dot?

Sunrise for normcore.dot runs only for the registry's fixed window; if you wait too long, it closes and normcore.dot moves to general availability where trademark priority no longer applies. domain.pay submits normcore.dot within the sunrise window for you. Act at https://domain.pay/register.

Is there VIP help for a large .PAY pre-order portfolio for BNPL checkout?

domain.pay says customers with pre-orders over $8,888 may qualify for VIP handling, dedicated support and more tailored failed-registration solutions. Review the current VIP language on the pricing page: https://domain.pay/pricing. Large portfolios should still expect availability and premium checks.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
