Frequently asked questions about nomadism.dot

Do I need a financial license to register a .PAY domain during LRP1 for a donation platform?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing.

Can I register nomadism.dot for a client or third party?

You can place a pre-order or priority request for nomadism.dot on behalf of a client, with the registrant details for nomadism.dot set in the order. For trademark priority, the SMD file must match the owner of the mark. Set up the nomadism.dot order at https://domain.pay/register.

As a checkout product manager, where do I enter the .PAY label I want to check?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

What happens if nomadism.dot is already registered by someone else?

If nomadism.dot is already registered, it can't be re-registered while that registration is active. You can monitor it for future availability or explore close alternatives to nomadism.dot instead. Registry status can change — re-check nomadism.dot at https://domain.pay/domains and consider variations if it stays taken.

For BNPL checkout, is .PAY useful for an invoice-payment portal?

Yes. .PAY can fit invoice-payment portals because it tells customers the link is about paying. Search options such as brand-specific or invoice-related labels on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Confirm availability and premium status before adding the URL to invoices.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
