Frequently asked questions about noddle.dot

For crypto payments, what does 'approved Payment Service Provider' mean for .PAY eligibility?

During LRP1, .PAY eligibility is limited to registrants that conduct payment transactions online using an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor, with payment-related use. For registration help, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Separate financial licensing depends on your activity and jurisdiction.

How early should I lock an alternative before noddle.dot resolves?

Lock an alternative as soon as you find a clear, available noddle.dot variant, rather than waiting for noddle.dot to resolve, since refundable $100 pre-orders make early action low-risk. domain.pay lets you secure a fallback immediately. Pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names when choosing merchant.pay?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Why is noddle.dot compared against a curated catalog?

domain.pay compares noddle.dot against a curated catalog so you can see how it stacks up against vetted payment-domain ideas built on noddle.dot and related themes. The catalog gives context for whether noddle.dot is the strongest available choice. Browse the catalog at https://domain.pay/domains.

Can I use nameservers and DNS like other domains with .PAY for point-of-sale payments?

After registration, plan DNS, SSL, redirects, security monitoring and payment-page controls as you would for a production domain. Start by securing the .PAY name through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. A domain alone does not make a checkout secure.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
