Frequently asked questions about nitro.dot

For payroll disbursements, how do I choose between trademark fast-track and pre-order?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

How does demand affect timing for nitro.dot?

High demand for short, brandable payment names means nitro.dot could attract several requests, so acting during the earliest applicable phase and pre-ordering improves your odds. domain.pay queues nitro.dot as early as possible. Get ahead at https://domain.pay/register.

Can I use nameservers and DNS like other domains with .PAY for a mobile wallet team?

After registration, plan DNS, SSL, redirects, security monitoring and payment-page controls as you would for a production domain. Start by securing the .PAY name through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. A domain alone does not make a checkout secure.

What happens to my fee if nitro.dot is allocated to a priority claimant?

If a trademark priority claimant is allocated nitro.dot, your standard pre-order for nitro.dot cannot be fulfilled and the fee is refundable per the stated policy. Priority claims are processed ahead of standard pre-orders by registry rules. Pre-order nitro.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Are short .PAY names always available when choosing settle.pay?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
