Frequently asked questions about niles.dot

As a checkout product manager, is .PAY Sunrise first-come, first-served for trademark holders?

.PAY Sunrise is a Start-Date Sunrise, so eligible trademark registrations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis when policy requirements are met. Start the request at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Waiting can increase the risk that another eligible party gets the matching label first.

How can NicNames prove ownership intent over niles.dot early?

Recording the niles.dot mark in the TMCH and obtaining an SMD file documents your rights and lets you claim niles.dot during priority phases. Pre-ordering niles.dot at $100, with refunds on failed attempts, further demonstrates and secures your intent to own it. https://domain.pay/register

Can a brand-protection manager use .PAY for a branded payment page for crypto payments?

Yes. A brand-protection manager can use .PAY for a branded payment page if the name is available and registry rules are met. Search the label and choose trademark fast-track or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

Why did my earlier niles.dot pre-order not convert?

A pre-order for niles.dot may not convert if Amazon Registry Services classified niles.dot as reserved or blocked, or another applicant secured it under launch rules. In those cases the fee is refundable per policy. Re-check niles.dot's status at https://domain.pay/domains.

Can .PAY be used for a branded checkout URL for crypto payments?

cloud.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
