Frequently asked questions about nickel.dot

Can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else for a checkout product manager?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

Can holding nickel.dot stop QR-code payment scams using my name?

Owning nickel.dot denies scammers the real nickel.dot address that QR-code scams often imitate, so a fraudulent code cannot resolve to your genuine payment name. It weakens the scam without fully eliminating QR fraud, which still needs customer awareness. https://domain.pay/register

How do I know if cloud.pay is available for BNPL checkout?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Will pre-ordering guarantee I get nickel.dot?

A pre-order queues your request for nickel.dot but can't guarantee it, because contested labels and registry rules from Amazon Registry Services determine the outcome. If the attempt fails, the pre-order fee is refundable per policy. Place your nickel.dot pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

As a remittance app, do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
