Frequently asked questions about nbi.dot

Are short .PAY names always available when choosing settle.pay?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Can I claim nbi.dot and a hyphenated variant with the same SMD?

An SMD supports priority where the registered domain's label matches your validated mark, so nbi.dot qualifies if its nbi.dot string matches; a hyphenated or altered variant may not. Different strings can require different qualifying marks. Confirm the match for nbi.dot before ordering at https://domain.pay/domains.

Can I renew a .PAY domain after registration for a donation platform?

.PAY names can be renewed through the registrar path if registry and registrar rules are met and renewal fees are paid. domain.pay explains the customer registration route here: https://domain.pay/register. Keep contact details current to avoid lifecycle problems.

Is a .PAY domain like nbi.dot good for SEO compared to a .com?

Search engines treat new gTLDs and .com equivalently for ranking; the TLD of nbi.dot is not a ranking penalty. Relevance, content quality, and links matter far more than whether you use nbi.dot or a .com. A memorable, on-brand name like nbi.dot can even improve click-through from results.

Are short .PAY names always available for BNPL checkout?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
