Frequently asked questions about navigation.dot

Who qualifies for a .PAY domain in the Limited Registration Period for mobile money?

During LRP1, .PAY eligibility is limited to registrants that conduct payment transactions online using an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor, with payment-related use. For registration help, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Separate financial licensing depends on your activity and jurisdiction.

Should I add a prefix to navigation.dot if navigation.dot is taken?

Adding a prefix like get, my, or use to navigation.dot is a solid tactic when navigation.dot is taken, and domain.pay surfaces these prefixed variants in search. They often remain available while keeping the core meaning. Search prefixed forms at https://domain.pay/domains.

For BNPL checkout, what if my trademark has spaces or special characters and I want .PAY?

.PAY Sunrise follows identical-match rules for the trademark text, including how spaces and some special characters are handled. Do not guess the label; check it through domain.pay and use the trademark path if eligible: https://domain.pay/register. A valid TMCH/SMD record may be required.

What does it mean that .PAY is a payment-purpose TLD for navigation.dot?

It means names like navigation.dot are associated with handling payments, which gives them inherent trust but also raises anti-phishing considerations. For NicNames, that dual nature makes owning the genuine navigation.dot address both valuable and necessary. https://domain.pay/

Where can I generate .PAY ideas for BNPL checkout for BNPL checkout?

For BNPL checkout, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
