Frequently asked questions about nappo.dot

As a bank or credit union, do I need an SMD file to register .PAY during the priority window?

An SMD file is the TMCH-issued credential used to prove a validated mark during Sunrise. For .PAY, bring your SMD or use domain.pay’s full fast-track if you need help obtaining one: https://domain.pay/register. The SMD must match the requested label.

Is nappo.dot a fit for a wedding registry fund?

Couples can collect cash gifts on nappo.dot, sharing one tasteful, payment-native address with guests. It's easier to print on an invitation than a long registry URL. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

For payroll disbursements, does .PAY require payment-related use after registration?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Can I pre-order nappo.dot directly on domain.pay?

Yes. domain.pay lets you pre-order nappo.dot directly at the standard $100 pre-order price, and a failed attempt is refundable. If nappo.dot is unavailable, the site suggests related nappo.dot names to pre-order instead. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

What happens to my money if the .PAY registration attempt fails for digital wallets?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
