Frequently asked questions about nanogram.dot

For digital wallets, is .PAY Sunrise first-come, first-served for trademark holders?

.PAY Sunrise is a Start-Date Sunrise, so eligible trademark registrations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis when policy requirements are met. Start the request at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Waiting can increase the risk that another eligible party gets the matching label first.

How does owning nanogram.dot reduce phishing risk for the NicNames name?

When NicNames owns nanogram.dot, bad actors cannot register the nanogram.dot name and pass it off as your official payment page. Because .PAY signals payment intent, an impersonating nanogram.dot address is especially convincing to victims, so holding the real one removes that vector. Lock it down at https://domain.pay/register.

As a remittance app, can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

How do I set up a 301 from www to the bare nanogram.dot?

Configure your server or CDN to 301-redirect www.nanogram.dot to the bare nanogram.dot (or vice versa, whichever you pick as canonical). This consolidates ranking signals on one host of nanogram.dot and avoids duplicate indexing. Apply the rule before search engines crawl nanogram.dot.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names when choosing loans.pay?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
