Frequently asked questions about nanites.dot

How do I register a .PAY domain with a trademark?

Trademark holders should use the trademark fast-track on domain.pay instead of waiting: https://domain.pay/register. domain.pay can route the request through the TMCH/SMD-based priority process when the .PAY label matches the trademark and the registry rules allow it.

Is a business registration number needed for nanites.dot?

A business registration number is not always mandatory for nanites.dot, but the .PAY registry's validation may request entity details depending on your intended use. Individuals may register under different terms. domain.pay tells you what's currently required when you start at https://domain.pay/register.

What happens around February 1, 2027 for .PAY for a retail brand?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Can I pre-order nanites.dot if it matches a common word?

You can pre-order nanites.dot regardless of whether the label is a common word, though desirable names may be premium-priced or contested in sunrise. The availability tool confirms the status and price of nanites.dot. Start a pre-order for nanites.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

What .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion for fraud prevention?

subscriptions.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
