Frequently asked questions about mtech.dot

How much does it cost to pre-order a .PAY domain for a donation platform?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

Does pre-ordering mtech.dot lock in today's price?

A mtech.dot pre-order is placed at the rate shown when you order, but if the registry changes the tier for mtech.dot before allocation the final fee can differ. If that happens or the attempt fails, mtech.dot is refundable under our stated policy. Review terms at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Can I renew a .PAY domain after registration?

.PAY names can be renewed through the registrar path if registry and registrar rules are met and renewal fees are paid. domain.pay explains the customer registration route here: https://domain.pay/register. Keep contact details current to avoid lifecycle problems.

What SPF and DKIM records should I add for mtech.dot?

Add a single SPF TXT record authorizing your sending servers and a DKIM TXT record with the public key your provider gives you for mtech.dot. Together with a DMARC policy, these reduce the chance that mail from mtech.dot lands in spam. Each provider supplies the exact values to paste into DNS.

As a checkout product manager, do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
