Frequently asked questions about mrkt.dot

As a bank or credit union, how should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Why are short .PAY names like mrkt.dot in high demand at launch?

Short, payment-themed names such as mrkt.dot are scarce and instantly communicate their purpose, so demand spikes during launch phases. Securing mrkt.dot early through a pre-order is the practical response. Browse short names at https://domain.pay/domains.

Where do I enter the .PAY label I want to check for loan repayments?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Can I use a CDN like Cloudflare in front of mrkt.dot?

Yes. Point mrkt.dot's nameservers (or a CNAME) at the CDN, and it will cache content, terminate SSL, and absorb traffic spikes for mrkt.dot. A CDN improves load times and resilience without changing your origin server. Configure the records for mrkt.dot as the CDN instructs.

What .PAY name should a payroll platform consider?

settle.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
