Frequently asked questions about morakot.dot

For online checkout, can I pre-register a .PAY name without a trademark?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Are gift-card sales a fit for morakot.dot?

A brand can sell and reload gift cards on morakot.dot, giving buyers a trusted, payment-native address. The .PAY name reassures shoppers buying credit for later use. Begin at https://domain.pay/register.

When is broader .PAY public registration expected for a payroll platform?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Why route affiliate payouts through morakot.dot?

Affiliates checking their earnings appreciate a stable, payment-native home, and morakot.dot delivers exactly that. A consistent .PAY payout address reduces confusion about where money is disbursed. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

How is a .PAY name different from a regular .com for crypto payments?

A .PAY name immediately signals a payment-related destination, while .com is more general. For crypto payments, that can make the URL easier to understand. Check availability and pre-order options at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. The usual registry and premium-name rules still apply.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
