Frequently asked questions about mitsumi.dot

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium for BNPL checkout?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Does pre-ordering mitsumi.dot lock in the standard price?

A $100 standard pre-order covers the queueing for mitsumi.dot, but the final registration price still depends on mitsumi.dot's registry classification — premium labels carry the registry's rate. Amazon Registry Services can change pricing. Check mitsumi.dot's details at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Why might a .PAY pre-order fail even after I pay for online checkout?

A .PAY pre-order can fail if the name is registered earlier, classified as premium, reserved, blocked, refused by registry policy or lost to another faster submission. Search and order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains, and review its credit/cash-refund options.

How does trademark priority work when registering mitsumi.dot?

If mitsumi.dot matches a trademark you hold, you can claim priority through the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH) using a Signed Mark Data (SMD) file. Validated marks get first access to mitsumi.dot during the registry's sunrise phase. Have your SMD ready before pre-ordering mitsumi.dot.

Are short .PAY names always available for mobile money?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
