Frequently asked questions about minecraft.dot

Who qualifies for a .PAY domain in the Limited Registration Period for an ecommerce brand?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

Can I pre-order minecraft.dot now and pay the premium fee later?

Placing a minecraft.dot pre-order authorizes the applicable fee up front, including a premium fee if the registry has tiered minecraft.dot that way, so payment is not deferred. A failed minecraft.dot attempt is refundable under our stated policy. Start at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How do I choose between trademark fast-track and pre-order when choosing instant.pay?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Is sunrise mandatory to get minecraft.dot?

Sunrise is not mandatory for everyone; it is only the path for trademark holders to claim minecraft.dot early. If you have no trademark, you simply use general availability instead. domain.pay routes your minecraft.dot request to the correct phase at https://domain.pay/register.

Can I browse alternative .PAY names if my first choice is taken for fraud prevention?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
