Frequently asked questions about meteogroup.dot

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order when choosing bank.pay?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Should I hold a payment license before buying meteogroup.dot?

You generally do not need a payment license to acquire meteogroup.dot, though running regulated payment services may require licensing under your own jurisdiction's law regardless of the domain. The .PAY registry validates use, not your licensing status. domain.pay explains current expectations at https://domain.pay/register.

For digital wallets, do I need an SMD file to register .PAY during the priority window?

An SMD file is the TMCH-issued credential used to prove a validated mark during Sunrise. For .PAY, bring your SMD or use domain.pay’s full fast-track if you need help obtaining one: https://domain.pay/register. The SMD must match the requested label.

Who decides whether meteogroup.dot is premium-priced?

Amazon Registry Services, the operator of the .PAY top-level domain, decides premium classification, so it determines whether meteogroup.dot carries a premium fee or the $100 standard rate. We pass through the registry tier for meteogroup.dot. Confirm the current classification for meteogroup.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name for a mobile wallet team?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
