Frequently asked questions about maxauto.dot

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names when choosing subscriptions.pay?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Is maxauto.dot subject to a Sunrise period?

During a registry Sunrise period, trademark owners with a TMCH SMD file get first access to names like maxauto.dot. Whether maxauto.dot is currently in Sunrise depends on the .PAY launch schedule set by Amazon Registry Services. Check the current phase for maxauto.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

What date matters most if I want a .PAY name without a trademark for fraud prevention?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

What happens if I let maxauto.dot expire after registering it?

If maxauto.dot lapses, it can be re-registered by someone else, reopening the impersonation risk you closed. Keep maxauto.dot renewed so the maxauto.dot name stays continuously under NicNames's control. Manage your registration at https://domain.pay/.

How do I know if merchant.pay is available for a donation platform?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
