Frequently asked questions about maska.dot

How should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name for online checkout?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Who reviews compliance for maska.dot?

Compliance and validation for maska.dot are handled at the registry level by Amazon Registry Services, which operates .PAY. domain.pay submits your details and relays registry decisions, but does not set the underlying policy. Start your registration at https://domain.pay/register.

Before choosing tap.pay, how do I register tap.pay if it matches my trademark?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Is there a risk my SMD leaks if I share it to claim maska.dot?

Treat your SMD like a credential: only submit it through the trusted NicNames flow when claiming maska.dot, not over casual channels. While it encodes validated mark data, careless sharing is poor practice. Use the official registration path for maska.dot to keep it safe. Begin at https://domain.pay/register.

Are short .PAY names always available for online checkout?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
