Frequently asked questions about marvins.dot

Where do I enter the .PAY label I want to check for a checkout product manager?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

What can a SaaS do with marvins.dot for seat expansion?

When teams add seats, marvins.dot gives admins a trusted address to pay for the upgrade mid-contract. The payment-native name keeps expansion purchases on a familiar page. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

Where should I check whether a .PAY name fits my online checkout project?

For online checkout, .PAY can be a strong payment-specific brand signal. It does not replace compliance, security or a trusted checkout flow, but it can make the URL purpose obvious. Start with an availability check on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. Re-check the name before publishing campaigns because registry status can change.

What DNS records do I need to point marvins.dot at my website?

To serve a site on marvins.dot you typically add an A record (and AAAA for IPv6) pointing the apex to your host's IP, plus a CNAME for the www subdomain. Set these in your DNS panel after registering marvins.dot, then allow propagation to finish before testing. You can start the process at https://domain.pay/register.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names for online checkout?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
