Frequently asked questions about maniac.dot

Is .PAY useful for an invoice-payment portal when choosing merchant.pay?

Yes. .PAY can fit invoice-payment portals because it tells customers the link is about paying. Search options such as brand-specific or invoice-related labels on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Confirm availability and premium status before adding the URL to invoices.

Which comes first for maniac.dot: sunrise or general availability?

Sunrise always comes first for maniac.dot, giving trademark holders priority, followed by general availability for the public. Your phase depends on whether you hold a matching mark. domain.pay queues maniac.dot for the right one at https://domain.pay/register.

Can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else for mobile money?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

Does domain.pay reserve maniac.dot on its own?

No — reservations on maniac.dot come from the registry, Amazon Registry Services, not from domain.pay. We display the registry's classification and let you pre-order or register maniac.dot when it's open. Check the registry status of maniac.dot at https://domain.pay/domains.

What does the .PAY ending signal to customers using crypto payments?

.PAY signals that the destination is connected to payment action, such as crypto payments. That can support clarity and trust when paired with strong security and branding. Check or pre-order the name at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
