Frequently asked questions about malouf.dot

What .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion for mobile money?

merchant.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

What TXT records might I need on malouf.dot besides SPF?

Beyond SPF, malouf.dot often needs DKIM and DMARC TXT records for email, plus verification TXT records for services like Search Console or a cloud platform. Each service tells you the exact string to add to malouf.dot. Keep these TXT entries on malouf.dot tidy and labeled.

Is .PAY already open to everyone for fraud prevention?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Will malouf.dot be cheaper during general availability?

Pricing for malouf.dot follows the registry and registrar schedule, not the phase, so general availability is not a discount window. The listed pre-order is $100, with failed attempts refundable per policy. See current rates at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Is there VIP help for a large .PAY pre-order portfolio for payroll disbursements?

domain.pay says customers with pre-orders over $8,888 may qualify for VIP handling, dedicated support and more tailored failed-registration solutions. Review the current VIP language on the pricing page: https://domain.pay/pricing. Large portfolios should still expect availability and premium checks.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
