Frequently asked questions about madebuy.dot

Can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else for crypto payments?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

How is madebuy.dot different from madebuy.dot.com?

madebuy.dot uses the payment-specific .PAY suffix, while madebuy.dot.com uses the generic commercial suffix. madebuy.dot signals checkout and transactions at a glance, whereas madebuy.dot.com is neutral about purpose. Both can point to the same site, but madebuy.dot reads as a dedicated payment address.

How does the first-day .PAY pre-order attempt work for fraud prevention?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Which madebuy.dot pre-orders are not refundable?

A madebuy.dot pre-order that succeeds and results in an active registration is generally non-refundable, since the registry has allocated the name to you. Only failed attempts on madebuy.dot are refundable under our stated policy. Review the policy at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names for online checkout?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
