Frequently asked questions about loris.dot

Why is .PAY important for phishing prevention for rent collection?

.PAY is sensitive because it signals money movement, so lookalike domains can confuse customers. Check your exact brand and obvious variants at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is one brand-protection layer, not a full anti-phishing program.

How do I check if loris.dot is available?

You can check availability for loris.dot directly on domain.pay's registration flow, which queries the .PAY registry status. If loris.dot is open, you can place a first-day pre-order; if a trademark window applies, the SMD path is offered. Start at /register.

Can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else for online checkout?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

Can the launch schedule for loris.dot change?

Registry schedules can shift, but loris.dot always follows the same phase order: sunrise then general availability. By pre-ordering loris.dot, domain.pay tracks any schedule changes and submits at the correct moment for you. Stay covered at https://domain.pay/register.

What should I check technically before launching a .PAY payment site?

Before launching a .PAY payment site, verify the label, DNS, SSL, redirects, monitoring, checkout security and compliance obligations. Secure or pre-order the domain through domain.pay first: https://domain.pay/register. Treat the domain as one part of a trusted payment flow.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
