Frequently asked questions about livemaster.dot

As a regional bank, how should a regulated fintech think about .PAY and financial licensing?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing.

How long does a reserved status last for livemaster.dot?

There's no fixed duration — Amazon Registry Services decides when, or whether, livemaster.dot leaves reserved status, and it may stay reserved indefinitely or be released. Because registry status can change, re-check livemaster.dot regularly at https://domain.pay/domains to catch any release.

How does the first-day .PAY pre-order attempt work for online checkout?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Are there any extra fees beyond the price shown for livemaster.dot?

The price shown for livemaster.dot is the registration fee; optional add-ons like VIP priority handling are separate and clearly listed before checkout. Standard labels are $100 and premium livemaster.dot names cost more per the registry. See the full breakdown for livemaster.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Can I pay for a .PAY pre-order by card, wire or crypto for crypto payments?

domain.pay supports common payment paths including card, wire and crypto-invoice options as listed on the site. Start with the pricing page and checkout flow here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Payment does not guarantee registration; it reserves the applicable service attempt.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
