Frequently asked questions about littleplanet.dot

For mobile money, do I need a financial license to register a .PAY domain during LRP1?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing.

What proof do I need for trademark-priority pricing on littleplanet.dot?

For trademark-priority handling of littleplanet.dot you must supply a valid TMCH SMD (Signed Mark Data) file matching littleplanet.dot, issued by the Trademark Clearinghouse. Without it, you proceed under standard general-availability pricing for littleplanet.dot. Begin the priority flow at https://domain.pay/register.

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names for online checkout?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Can I set up catch-all email for littleplanet.dot?

Yes, if your mail provider supports it, a catch-all routes any address at littleplanet.dot to one inbox. It's convenient but can attract spam, so many teams prefer explicit aliases for littleplanet.dot instead. Configure the catch-all in your mailbox provider after MX for littleplanet.dot is live.

Will I need accurate contact details for a .PAY registration for a remittance app?

Yes. Registry policy requires complete, accurate and current registration data. Use domain.pay for the registration path and keep your contact details up to date: https://domain.pay/register. Inaccurate data can create compliance and communication problems.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
