Frequently asked questions about lickimat.dot

For online checkout, do I need an SMD file to register .PAY during the priority window?

An SMD file is the TMCH-issued credential used to prove a validated mark during Sunrise. For .PAY, bring your SMD or use domain.pay’s full fast-track if you need help obtaining one: https://domain.pay/register. The SMD must match the requested label.

How long does lickimat.dot eligibility review take?

The time to review lickimat.dot eligibility depends on the .PAY registry's validation workload and whether additional details are requested. Many registrations proceed without extended review, but timing isn't fixed. domain.pay keeps you updated throughout; start at https://domain.pay/register.

Why might a .PAY pre-order fail even after I pay for payroll disbursements?

A .PAY pre-order can fail if the name is registered earlier, classified as premium, reserved, blocked, refused by registry policy or lost to another faster submission. Search and order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains, and review its credit/cash-refund options.

Is there a deadline to pre-order lickimat.dot?

Pre-orders for lickimat.dot are accepted up until its phase opens, but the practical deadline is sooner the more contested the name is, since queue order can matter. Acting now avoids missing the window. Pre-order lickimat.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names when choosing donate.pay?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
