Frequently asked questions about licensee.dot

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names when choosing cloud.pay?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Is licensee.dot useful for a SaaS upgrade flow?

Routing upgrade and add-on purchases through licensee.dot keeps paying customers on a recognizable address during the most revenue-critical step. The .PAY ending signals a secure billing action inside your product. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I register a .PAY domain right now for online checkout?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

How does licensee.dot fit a multi-brand or sub-brand strategy?

A focused name like licensee.dot can host a sub-brand or product line while your main domain stays primary, linked by clear navigation and consistent canonicals. Decide whether licensee.dot should rank on its own or 301 to the hub. Keep cross-links between licensee.dot and the parent brand intentional.

What characters are allowed in a .PAY domain for BNPL checkout?

.PAY labels must follow registry label rules, including 1–63 characters, letters, numbers and hyphens, no leading or trailing hyphen, and additional IDN/reserved-name rules. Test the exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Technical validity does not guarantee availability.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
