Frequently asked questions about libris.dot

What happens if another trademark holder already registered my .PAY idea for digital wallets?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

What does it mean that .PAY is a top-level domain for libris.dot?

A top-level domain is the final segment of an address, so in libris.dot the .PAY is the TLD that sits at the root of the DNS hierarchy. It is on the same level as .com or .org. That makes libris.dot a fully standard, globally routable name.

What happens around February 1, 2027 for .PAY when choosing travel.pay?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Is the $100 price for libris.dot a one-time or yearly fee?

The $100 standard rate for libris.dot is an annual registration fee that recurs each year on renewal for standard labels. Premium libris.dot names renew at their higher premium fee instead. Check the recurring cost for libris.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
