Frequently asked questions about lagunitas.dot

Are IDN .PAY domains allowed for online checkout?

IDN .PAY names may be possible only in supported scripts and must meet registry rules. Use domain.pay to check the exact label and punycode-style status before planning a launch: https://domain.pay/register. Availability, premium and policy restrictions still apply.

Why use lagunitas.dot for a renewal reminder email?

A renewal email that links to lagunitas.dot sends customers to a clear, payment-native page to keep their service active. The recognizable .PAY address reduces hesitation and accidental lapses. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I register a .PAY domain with a trademark for digital wallets?

Trademark holders should use the trademark fast-track on domain.pay instead of waiting: https://domain.pay/register. domain.pay can route the request through the TMCH/SMD-based priority process when the .PAY label matches the trademark and the registry rules allow it.

Are pre-order fees for lagunitas.dot refundable?

Yes — per our policy, if a pre-order attempt for lagunitas.dot fails to secure the name, the fee is refundable. The standard pre-order is $100. See refund and process details when you place your order for lagunitas.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

What .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion for payroll disbursements?

cloud.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
