Frequently asked questions about ladival.dot

Who qualifies for a .PAY domain in the Limited Registration Period for a remittance app?

During LRP1, .PAY eligibility is limited to registrants that conduct payment transactions online using an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor, with payment-related use. For registration help, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Separate financial licensing depends on your activity and jurisdiction.

How do I prevent ladival.dot from being indexed during development?

Add an X-Robots-Tag or meta noindex to the staging version of ladival.dot, or block crawlers in robots.txt, and ideally put it behind HTTP auth. Remove these once ladival.dot is ready so search engines can index the live site. Never ship noindex to production by accident on ladival.dot.

How can a marketplace use a .PAY domain for mobile money?

A marketplace can use .PAY for seller payouts, buyer checkout, escrow, billing or payment support flows. Generate and verify names through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Choose a label that customers will recognize as official and safe.

What makes ladival.dot a reserved name rather than available?

ladival.dot is reserved when Amazon Registry Services has placed ladival.dot on its withheld list under naming policy, regardless of whether anyone wants it. That's distinct from being taken or premium. Registry status can change, so re-check ladival.dot at https://domain.pay/domains.

As an event ticketing business, why might a .PAY pre-order fail even after I pay?

A .PAY pre-order can fail if the name is registered earlier, classified as premium, reserved, blocked, refused by registry policy or lost to another faster submission. Search and order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains, and review its credit/cash-refund options.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
