Frequently asked questions about kosmos.dot

What is a .PAY domain and why does it matter for crypto payments?

.PAY is a payment-focused top-level domain operated by Amazon Registry Services. For crypto payments, it can make the payment purpose of a URL clearer than a generic address. Check or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay handles the customer path for trademark-priority registration or first-day pre-order attempts.

Are there any names like kosmos.dot reserved by the registry from SMD claims?

Amazon Registry Services may reserve certain strings under .PAY policy, which can affect whether a name like kosmos.dot is open to SMD-backed priority claims. Looking up kosmos.dot through NicNames shows whether it is available or reserved. Check the live status before relying on priority for kosmos.dot at https://domain.pay/domains.

What should I do first if I want a .PAY domain for mobile money?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

How is kosmos.dot protected against cybersquatting through TMCH?

TMCH protects kosmos.dot by letting the validated owner of the kosmos.dot mark claim it first via an SMD, before squatters can reach it in general availability. Trademark priority is the front-line defence for kosmos.dot. Pairing it with a timely registration reduces conflict risk. Secure your priority claim at https://domain.pay/register.

As a remittance app, do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
