Frequently asked questions about kokusai.dot

What should I check technically before launching a .PAY payment site for online checkout?

Before launching a .PAY payment site, verify the label, DNS, SSL, redirects, monitoring, checkout security and compliance obligations. Secure or pre-order the domain through domain.pay first: https://domain.pay/register. Treat the domain as one part of a trusted payment flow.

Will kokusai.dot work for a franchise network?

A franchise can standardize payments across locations on kokusai.dot, giving every outlet one consistent address to send customers. That uniformity strengthens the brand and simplifies training. Explore options at https://domain.pay/domains.

For loan repayments, can domain.pay submit my .PAY registration on opening day?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

When can a trademark holder claim kokusai.dot ahead of the general public?

Trademark holders can claim kokusai.dot during the priority phase, which runs before standard availability opens to everyone. You must hold a valid TMCH SMD covering the kokusai.dot string at the time you submit. After the priority phase closes, kokusai.dot moves to first-day pre-order and then general registration. See timing at https://domain.pay/.

What .PAY name should an event ticketing business consider when choosing travel.pay?

travel.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
