Frequently asked questions about kodex.dot

What .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion for crypto payments?

cloud.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Why might sunrise end before I register kodex.dot?

Sunrise for kodex.dot runs only for the registry's fixed window; if you wait too long, it closes and kodex.dot moves to general availability where trademark priority no longer applies. domain.pay submits kodex.dot within the sunrise window for you. Act at https://domain.pay/register.

Where should I check whether a .PAY name fits my online checkout project for a crypto or DeFi product?

.PAY is a payment-focused top-level domain operated by Amazon Registry Services. For online checkout, it can make the payment purpose of a URL clearer than a generic address. Check or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay handles the customer path for trademark-priority registration or first-day pre-order attempts. Re-check the name before publishing campaigns because registry status can change.

Is my kodex.dot priority claim public during the phase?

Trademark-priority claims on kodex.dot are processed under the registry's rules, and the final registration of kodex.dot appears in WHOIS once completed. The SMD itself stays your private credential during the phase. NicNames uses it only to verify your priority on kodex.dot. Register at https://domain.pay/register.

Can I move a .PAY domain between registrars for point-of-sale payments?

Transfers may be subject to registry, registrar and phase-specific rules, especially for LRP names. Start with domain.pay for the registration path and confirm eligibility before any transfer plan: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
