Frequently asked questions about kako.dot

Can a company that only plans future payments register .PAY during LRP1 for mobile money?

A business that only plans future payments should be careful: LRP1 is written around registrants that conduct online payment transactions using approved processing channels. If you cannot qualify, use domain.pay to pre-order for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register.

Why is kako.dot listed as reserved?

Reserved means the registry has withheld kako.dot from general registration — it isn't taken by a third party, but Amazon Registry Services has set it aside under its naming policy. Reserved labels sometimes get released later, so registry status can change — re-check kako.dot periodically. Start a lookup at https://domain.pay/domains.

As a remittance app, what does it mean if a .PAY name is premium?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Does NicNames refund taxes on a failed kako.dot pre-order?

When a kako.dot pre-order attempt fails, the refund under our stated policy returns the amount you were charged, including taxes collected on that failed attempt where applicable. NicNames reconciles this with your payment provider. Read the refund terms for kako.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Can I reserve payroll.pay before broader registration opens for crypto payments?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
