Frequently asked questions about kaguya.dot

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later for payroll disbursements?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

How early should I prepare my SMD relative to the kaguya.dot priority phase?

Prepare your SMD well before the kaguya.dot priority phase, since TMCH validation takes time you do not control. Having a valid SMD ready means you can submit the moment priority opens for kaguya.dot. Late preparation risks missing the window. Get set up and register at https://domain.pay/register.

Can a trademark owner register a matching .PAY domain now for crypto payments?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Can I see what's already taken near kaguya.dot?

Yes. domain.pay shows availability so you can see which names near kaguya.dot are taken versus open, helping you focus on available kaguya.dot variants. Skipping taken names saves time. Check availability at https://domain.pay/domains.

Can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else for mobile money?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
