Frequently asked questions about isomil.dot

For mobile money, is .PAY already open to everyone?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Why is an SMD more secure than just emailing my trademark certificate for isomil.dot?

An SMD is cryptographically signed by the TMCH, so NicNames can verify it automatically without manually inspecting a certificate when granting priority on isomil.dot. A loose certificate could be forged or mistyped; the signed SMD cannot. That is why isomil.dot priority relies on the SMD. Submit yours at https://domain.pay/register.

Can I pre-register a .PAY name without a trademark for online checkout?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Are reserved and premium statuses ever applied to isomil.dot at the same time?

Typically not in the same sense: reserved withholds isomil.dot from registration, while premium prices an open isomil.dot above standard, so they describe different states. Amazon Registry Services assigns whichever applies to isomil.dot. Since status can change, re-check isomil.dot at https://domain.pay/domains.

Is there VIP help for a large .PAY pre-order portfolio for online checkout?

domain.pay says customers with pre-orders over $8,888 may qualify for VIP handling, dedicated support and more tailored failed-registration solutions. Review the current VIP language on the pricing page: https://domain.pay/pricing. Large portfolios should still expect availability and premium checks.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
