Frequently asked questions about insomniac.dot

For fraud prevention, can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

Can I register insomniac.dot after general availability opens?

Yes, insomniac.dot remains registrable after general availability opens if it has not already been taken. The risk is that popular names go quickly, so pre-ordering insomniac.dot avoids relying on availability later. Pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

For point-of-sale payments, what happens around February 1, 2027 for .PAY?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

How do I confirm insomniac.dot qualifies for the $100 rate before paying?

Before paying, enter insomniac.dot on our pricing page; if the registry has not flagged insomniac.dot as premium, the page shows the $100 standard rate, otherwise it shows the premium fee. This lets you confirm insomniac.dot pricing in advance. Verify it at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How do I know if cloud.pay is available for BNPL checkout?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
