Frequently asked questions about improvements.dot

Should a remittance app protect its exact brand in .PAY for a remittance app?

If your brand accepts payments, registering the exact .PAY label can be a practical defensive step. Use domain.pay to check and start the priority or pre-order path: https://domain.pay/register. Also keep trademark monitoring and security controls in place.

Is my improvements.dot priority claim public during the phase?

The SMD itself stays your private credential during the phase. NicNames uses it only to verify your priority on improvements.dot. Register at https://domain.pay/register.

As a crypto or DeFi product, can an ecommerce brand using Stripe or another processor apply for .PAY in LRP1?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

What makes improvements.dot worth the .PAY price?

A .PAY name like improvements.dot signals a payments or fintech focus in a tightly operated namespace run by Amazon Registry Services, which is what the $100 standard or premium improvements.dot fee reflects. We do not make any resale or earnings claims about improvements.dot. See the rate at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How do I know if cloud.pay is available when choosing cloud.pay?
