Frequently asked questions about ign.dot

As a travel booking brand, how much is the .PAY trademark fast-track if I need TMCH help?

domain.pay lists the full trademark fast-track at $2,500 when you need end-to-end TMCH/SMD assistance, plus any premium registry retail fee. Confirm the details here: https://domain.pay/pricing. If you already have an SMD file, a lower submission-only path may apply.

When does general availability open for ign.dot?

General availability for ign.dot opens after the sunrise phase concludes, on the date set by the registry. domain.pay's first-day pre-order ensures your ign.dot request goes in as soon as that window opens. Reserve your spot at https://domain.pay/register.

Where should I check whether a .PAY name fits my payroll disbursements project?

.PAY is a payment-focused top-level domain operated by Amazon Registry Services. For payroll disbursements, it can make the payment purpose of a URL clearer than a generic address. Check or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay handles the customer path for trademark-priority registration or first-day pre-order attempts.

Why is an SMD more secure than just emailing my trademark certificate for ign.dot?

An SMD is cryptographically signed by the TMCH, so NicNames can verify it automatically without manually inspecting a certificate when granting priority on ign.dot. A loose certificate could be forged or mistyped; the signed SMD cannot. That is why ign.dot priority relies on the SMD. Submit yours at https://domain.pay/register.

Can I use .PAY for redirects to my existing checkout for a regional bank?

Yes, you can use a .PAY domain as a clean branded entry point or redirect to an existing checkout, but implement redirects, SSL and tracking carefully. First secure or pre-order the label through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
