Frequently asked questions about idc.dot

How can a brand reduce confusion around payment pages for rent collection?

.PAY is sensitive because it signals money movement, so lookalike domains can confuse customers. Check your exact brand and obvious variants at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is one brand-protection layer, not a full anti-phishing program.

Can idc.dot host a deposit page for bookings?

Yes. Service businesses can take booking deposits on idc.dot, giving customers a clear payment address to secure an appointment. The .PAY name reduces no-shows by making the deposit step feel official. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

Will I need accurate contact details for a .PAY registration for loan repayments?

Yes. Registry policy requires complete, accurate and current registration data. Use domain.pay for the registration path and keep your contact details up to date: https://domain.pay/register. Inaccurate data can create compliance and communication problems.

Are there refunds if idc.dot is withheld by the registry?

If Amazon Registry Services reserves or withholds idc.dot, your pre-order cannot be fulfilled and the attempt is refundable under our stated policy. Reserved names are outside our control. Read how withheld names are handled for idc.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name for online checkout?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
