Frequently asked questions about hovis.dot

What happens to my money if the .PAY registration attempt fails for crypto payments?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

What happens on the first day of general availability for hovis.dot?

On the first day of general availability, hovis.dot becomes registrable by the public and requests are processed as they arrive. A first-day pre-order with domain.pay means your hovis.dot request is already staged to go in immediately. Set it up at https://domain.pay/register.

Can a donation platform use .PAY for a branded payment page for a donation platform?

Yes. A donation platform can use .PAY for a branded payment page if the name is available and registry rules are met. Search the label and choose trademark fast-track or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

Who operates the .PAY registry behind hovis.dot?

The .PAY top-level domain that hovis.dot belongs to is operated by Amazon Registry Services, Amazon's domain registry arm. They set the policies and run the infrastructure for every .PAY name. domain.pay is a registration service that helps you secure hovis.dot on that registry; see https://domain.pay/.

Where can I see already-registered .PAY domains for payroll disbursements?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
