Frequently asked questions about hordes.dot

Why are payment brands talking about .PAY as a startup for a regional bank?

.PAY is a payment-focused top-level domain operated by Amazon Registry Services. For BNPL checkout, it can make the payment purpose of a URL clearer than a generic address. Check or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay handles the customer path for trademark-priority registration or first-day pre-order attempts.

Can the launch schedule for hordes.dot change?

Registry schedules can shift, but hordes.dot always follows the same phase order: sunrise then general availability. By pre-ordering hordes.dot, domain.pay tracks any schedule changes and submits at the correct moment for you. Stay covered at https://domain.pay/register.

As an ecommerce brand, what does the $100 .PAY pre-order cover?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

Will I be told which phase hordes.dot is in?

Yes. When you engage domain.pay for hordes.dot, you are guided to the correct phase, sunrise or general availability, based on whether you hold a trademark, and your hordes.dot request is queued for it. Find out at https://domain.pay/register.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names for payroll disbursements?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
