Frequently asked questions about homejoy.dot

As a checkout product manager, do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

What does it mean to pre-order homejoy.dot before it launches?

Pre-ordering homejoy.dot reserves your place in line to register the name when the .PAY namespace opens it for general availability. The .PAY registry is operated by Amazon Registry Services, and a standard pre-order for homejoy.dot is listed at $100. Start at https://domain.pay/register to place your request.

Can I pay for a .PAY pre-order by card, wire or crypto for point-of-sale payments?

domain.pay supports common payment paths including card, wire and crypto-invoice options as listed on the site. Start with the pricing page and checkout flow here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Payment does not guarantee registration; it reserves the applicable service attempt.

Does an unregistered homejoy.dot create legal exposure for my customers?

If homejoy.dot is left open, an impersonator can capture customers who trust the homejoy.dot name for payments, leading to fraud losses and reputational harm to NicNames. While you are not liable for a scammer's actions, the customer harm is real. Closing that gap means registering homejoy.dot. https://domain.pay/register
