Frequently asked questions about holdin.dot

What if my trademark has spaces or special characters and I want .PAY for a donation platform?

.PAY Sunrise follows identical-match rules for the trademark text, including how spaces and some special characters are handled. Do not guess the label; check it through domain.pay and use the trademark path if eligible: https://domain.pay/register. A valid TMCH/SMD record may be required.

Can holdin.dot anchor a rewards top-up flow?

Yes. When customers add funds to a rewards or gift balance, holdin.dot gives them a payment-native address that feels safe. Keeping top-ups on a .PAY name reinforces it as the official place to pay. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know if merchant.pay is available for mobile money?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

What can a delivery service do with holdin.dot?

A delivery service can host order payment and tipping on holdin.dot, giving customers one trusted address from cart to driver tip. The .PAY name keeps the experience consistent across the journey. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order for BNPL checkout?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
